MUMBAI: Zee TV has been entertaining its viewers, bringing them memorable stories and relatable characters over the past 28 years. With 2020 being particularly challenging with the COVID-19 pandemic, Zee TV has been trying to spread cheer and joy all through lockdown and with fresh content ever since production resumed in July. Now, it’s that time of the year again when the channel acknowledges the contributions of innumerable actors, directors, producers, creative teams, technicians who have been working relentlessly to bring you all your favourite daily primetime shows with the celebration of ‘Zee Rishtey Awards’. We all know due to the pandemic, festivities and celebrations had to be kept low-key this year, but, Zee TV is here to give its audiences the best of entertainment at one go wherein ‘India Ek Raat Mein Poora Saal Manayega’. With a hearty attempt to unlock happiness with Zee Ki Khushiyon Ki Chabee, the channel brings to you the biggest event of the year, the Zee Rishtey Awards 2020, which will air on Zee TV on 27th December at 7 pm.

During the show, the audience will get to see all of their favorite stars under one roof and each of them will get recognition by bagging the prestigious Zee Rishtey Awards under different categories. Amongst the stars who bagged an award were Kanika Mann and Reem Shaikh, who have been winning the audience's hearts by sharing some exquisite, glamorous and eloquent content on their social media pages. For the same, they were awarded the Social Swagger Award and the actresses couldn't control their happiness. Both seemed excited on winning the award and while Kanika revealed that she consciously tries to post good content on her social media to keep her fans updated about her life, Reem gave credit to her Tujhse Hai Raabta co-star Sehban Azim for the award.

As Reem Shaikh shared, “I am extremely grateful for this Zee Rishtey Award. To be honest, this is a surreal feeling for me as I am relatively less active on social media. When it comes to creating content, I feel Kanika is a pro. However, I would like to thank Sehban for clicking such amazing and candid pictures of me. He has a great passion for photography and he’s the one who takes fantastic snaps of me and I’m glad that everybody appreciated it so much. I am overwhelmed and I would like to dedicate my award to him”.
In the meantime, while viewers will watch their favourite Zee TV stars put up some scintillating acts and battle it out for the top awards while celebrating the year gone by with all of India, there are many more surprises in store for the audience as well.
