Life OK has a refreshing line-up of fresh fiction programs waiting to spread its wings in the coming months. Out of the lot, one show that stands out happens to be Scaling Heights Productions’ upcoming project based on the backdrop of the army setup. This show is unique for many reasons – firstly being that it will be completely shot in Punjab, mainly in Chandigarh. The other prominent aspect of the show is that two big names from the entertainment industry join hands to form the production house, Scaling Heights. As we know, Imtiaz Punjabi the popular actor/director/writer turns producer with this show. But we have now got to know that Imtiaz and equally popular art director Chokas Bharadwaj of Hazaar Chaurasi Ki Maa, Sarrkkaar, Hello Brother fame will be the joint Producers of this show. Talking about the cast, Tellychakkar.com has earlier reported about Karam Rajpal (last seen in Rakshak) and Gulki Joshi of Phir Subah Hogi fame playing the leads. Nikkhil Chaddha who was last seen in Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke on Zee TV will be the anti-hero in this show. Known actress Tanushree Kaushal will play a very prominent and strong role. The news coming to us right now, is that known Bollywood and TV actor Ravi Jhankal has been roped in to play a powerful role, that of Nikkhil Chaddha’s father. A reliable source tells us that the show has got its final title in ‘Nadaan Parindey Ghar Aaja’. The shoot for the show is presently on at a village which is situated about 30 kms away from Chandigarh, Punjab. As per our source, Ravi Jhankal, who has the experience of working in films like Chameli Ki Shaadi, Rudaali, Sardari Begum, Zubeidaa, Mangal Pandey and many more films, will play a very positive character, that of a retired army person. He would want to instill all his values and discipline into his family members, especially his son. When contacted, Ravi Jhankal, who was last seen on TV in Zee TV’s Hitler Didi says, “Yes, I am part of the upcoming Life OK show. I have a very strong role to play, is what I can say at the moment.” We hear that Nadaan Parindey Ghar Aaja will launch on Life OK sometime in April (2014). Look out for this promising show on Life OK in the coming months.
