#IndependenceDay special drama in Colors Bangla's Meera

On 15th August, Meera will be receiving the Gallantry Award on behalf of her deceased husband. There she will come across the shocking truth
Here we bring an update for the loyal viewers of Colors Bangla's Meera (Grassroot Entertainment). By keeping the occasion of Independence Day in mind, the makers have weaved an important track. Well, as per our reliable source, in the coming episodes, it will be shown that on Independence Day, Meera (Jasmine Roy) will be invited by the Indian Army to receive a “Gallantry Award – Posthumous” for her deceased husband, Late Major Prabhoranjan Mukhopadhyay (Mainak Banerjee), who laid down his life for the country while valiantly fighting some insurgents. Though it will be a moment of great pride and honour for her, the day will also bring her face to face with the biggest truth of her life. The truth will be so brutal and scathing that it will alter her life as well as the people around her. What that brutal truth would be? When Tellychakkar.com buzzed Sushanta Das, director of the show, to know more about the track, he revealed, “Well, in the coming track, Meera will get to know that somehow Subhankar (Rehaan Roy) was responsible behind her husband’s death. This will be the climax of the story. From here onward, the story will take a different turn.” “We have shot the sequence of Meera receiving the award in an auditorium. This will give the scene a real feel,” he added. So, readers gear up for the drama ahead. For more updates keep visiting this space.
