But somehow, for Abhishek this is not the end of his dream. He says, "I was expecting my elimination. But now my focus will be on applying things which I've learned here."
On classical lessons…
I have learned many things about singing during my journey on Indian Idol. While singing on stage sometimes I used to loose control over my pitch. It was sometimes too high and sometimes too low. I am not a trained singer and I think that's what proved to be my drawback. Everybody told me to take lessons in classical singing. Now, I will be taking classical lessons from Suresh Wadkar.
This is not the end of my dream.
Emotions during the elimination…
I was expecting my elimination. I was sad and cried while leaving, as Indian Idol was like another family to me who cried and laughed together. There can be just one winner. After Parleen's elimination I was very depressed. Initially, I was not sure about my elimination, but only after my Don number I lost my confidence and sensed the danger of returning home.
About studies…
I am doing my last year engineering. This time, I could not attend my finals and have to wait for the next year. Thus, I am planning to come back to Bombay and polish myself. Singing will always remain my passion and I will try to make my place in this world.
