Iqbal Khan bags Ullu App's The Bull Of Dalal Street

MUMBAI: TellyChakkar recently exclusively reported that Ullu App is coming up with a series titled The Bull Of Dalal Street (Read here: Ullu App to launch series on stock market tycoon titled The Bull of Dalal Street).

Now, we have heard that the makers have roped in Mohammed Iqbal Khan for the series, which is based on a stock market tycoon.

A source close to the project revealed, 'Iqbal will be seen playing a common man, who rose to become one of the most influential brokers in a short span of time. However, soon things ended in a financial mess.'

When contacted, Iqbal, who has worked in shows like Waaris, Tumhari Pakhi, Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani, and Dil Se Dil Tak, told us, 'Yes, I am doing the series, but I won't be able to reveal further details.'

The Bull Of Dalal Street will be produced by Vibhu Agarwal, CEO, Ullu Digital Pvt. Ltd., and co-produced by Falguni Shah’s Dreamzz Images Studio and directed by Deepak Pandey.

Ullu App has been streaming interesting and unique stories since its launch. Halala highlighted issues faced by women after triple talaq, while Panchali showcased the old tradition of men sharing one wife due to socioeconomic reasons. #MeToo - Wolf of Bollywood is a tale of unspoken, unrequited love.
