MUMBAI: Surbhi Chandna, who rose to fame with her character as Anika in Star Plus’ Ishqbaaaz, shocked her fans when she confirmed her exit from the show, as she didn’t want to play a mother so early in her career. The actress bid a tearful good bye to one and all by posting a video on Instagram, which made her fans emotional.

Even her co-stars were emotional on her exit. Shrenu Parikh, Nikitin Dheer, Nehalaxmi Iyer, and others posted messages for Surbhi on social media. Meanwhile, Surbhi has reportedly bagged Sunil Grover’s comeback show Kanpur Wale Khuranas.

Ishqbaaaz after the leap will focus on Shivaay and Anika's son Shivaansh Singh Oberoi, who will be played by Nakuul himself.
