MUMBAI: Star Plus’ supernatural horror drama Qayamat Ki Raat (Balaji Telefilms), as per the reports in media, is soon shutting its shop.

The lead actress Karishma Tanna aka Gauri confirmed the news with TellyChakkar and shared, “Yes, the show will soon come to an end as it was a finite series. I am already feeling nostalgic as we will soon wrap-up our shoot.”

“I am glad to be a part of a show like Qayamat Ki Raat, but at the same time I am sad with the show ending. I think we did really well on a 7pm timeslot. I have lived my character of Gauri to the fullest. The entire cast and crew is very hard working and have given their best to make the show hit. These ten months of shooting has been amazing and I am really going to miss all of it,” she added.

When asked if the show will return with season 2, she replied, “I think Ekta Kapoor will be the right person to answer this question.”

Qayamat Ki Raat, which stars Vivek Dahiya opposite Karishma, will air its last episode on 17 February. The show will be replaced with Fireworks’ Divya Drashti.

TellyChakkar has exclusively reported about Divya Drashti and its star cast (Read here: Sangeeta Ghosh, Ridheema Tiwari, and Parul Choudhary in Fireworks and Mukta Dhond’s next; Adhvik Mahajan, Karan Khanna, and Nyra Bannerjee in Fireworks and Mukta Dhond’s next?)
