It's wrap up time for Maahi Ve

Sab's Maahi Ve will go off air on 11 May. The show starring Karishma Randhawa and Vikram Acharya will be replaced by Rose Audio Visuals' widely awaited, Twinkle Beauty Parlour which will be on air from 15 May.

Karishma Randhawa the lead of the show says, "We will certainly be wrapping up soon. It's going to be a happy ending for me and Vikram, as we get married to each other."

Randhawa was informed a month back that the show was going to wind up. She adds, "I am definitely very sad about it and have stopped shooting five days back. My producer had told me that I can take on another project as Maahi Ve will be going off air soon."

Binaifer Kohli, co producer of the show was away in Paris and was unable to comment on the issue.

Priya Mishra, programming head SAB, confirms, "Well, it was planned that way, it's not abrupt ending."

But Tarun Khanna, who plays Kuljeet has a different story to offer. "Well, I will certainly miss everyone, as we shared an amazing rapport. It did start off well, but later turned out to be a total mis-match.

There was scope for it to do well, but the show at one point become something that I had never expected it to be! I don't know where did it lack, where the execution of the story, or what," sighs Tarun. This is not all the actor also says, "There were certain people on the set who didn't take work seriously, and wanted to do things for the heck of it."

Interestingly, not so long ago, Maahi Ve had plans of shifting from Sab to Sony. Sources say that the shift didn't happen due to financial issues.
