Japanese delegates visit the set of their favourite show, Tu Mera Hero

Japanese delegates visit the set of Tu Mera Hero

It’s just over a month of run for Shashi-Sumeet Productions’ show Tu Mera Hero on Star Plus, and it has already garnered a lot of international acclaim.

Well, the show we hear is the ‘favorite’ of one and all in Japan, and this was very clearly conveyed to the unit recently when they welcomed a few delegates from Japan on their sets.

A source from the set told us, “Few eminent personalities from Japan wanted to have a look at the Tu Mera Hero sets, and also interact with the makers. Hence, the Producers Shashi and Sumeet Mittal deployed few people to take them around the set. The delegates happened to be eminent Producers and Directors from the ad, TV and movie sectors in Japan.”

The visitors were appalled and thrilled to hear that the set was erected after visualizing a real house in Mathura. They were excited about the fact that the set designer Aparna Raina had erected an exact replica of the house, as the residence of the male protagonist, Titu. The guests were offered quite a lot of savouries and food, and were made to interact with the show’s Director, DOP, cast and the crew.

When contacted, Mahmood Raza, Project Head, Shashi-Sumeet Productions confirmed the news saying, “Yes, we had a few visitors from Japan on our sets recently. They had requested our Producers to get them on the sets of the show that they love to watch. In very short time, Tu Mera Hero has become a favourite of one and all and we are pleased about it. They looked into all the intricate details of our set, and were amazed to see such a realistic set erected for the show. They got into a pleasant conversation with our Producers, and also interacted with one and all on the set. We were thrilled with all the appreciation they bestowed on the show.”

Here are few pictures of the Japanese visitors on the sets of Tu Mera Hero.

Way to go, Tu Mera Hero team…
