Recently we had reported about the young and dashing actor Jattin Sharma making a re-entry in Channel V’s popular show, The Buddy Project (Sunshine Productions) in a completely new avatar.
Well, very few actors get this chance to project two different characters in one show.
In curiosity, Tellychakkar.com decided to knock on Jattin’s door to get personal about his experience on his comeback in the project.
“It surely is a very nice feeling to be back with the same show and team which made me a known face in the world of television and we are having the same fun and masti that we used to have earlier. It is a superb feeling and I am really enjoying every moment of it,” says the lad.
“For long there have been talks with the production house but things were not working out well. But finally we thought about using the mystery value whether Harsh (current character) is Samar (previous character) or not. The track is a very interesting one and will keep the audience hooked to it,” he quips.
Both the characters seem to be poles apart. So how is he coping up with it, we asked. “They are surely very different and most importantly Harsh is very unlike me. I am this rather simple guy whereas I have to play this urban London-returned boy. Poori alag route pakad li hai but I am getting to learn a lot through it. As an actor it’s always challenging and yet fruitful to play characters dissimilar to one ’s self,” Jattin avers.
We also quizzed the actor on whether Harsh will turn out to be Samar at the end. “No, he won’t. I was very clear when I took to play the character that it won’t have any connection with Samar. I didn't want it to look like those dailies where such things keep on happening."
"This show is for the youth and has to be real. The character is supposed to be a two-month cameo but will only be finalised after we get the response of the people. Till now I am enjoying playing the character and I am sure viewers are having fun too,” adds the actor.
Boy, we are sure they are enjoying!!!!
