Jayshree Soni : I knew I would make it big in Mumbai

A page from the personal diary of Jayshree Soni I hail from Jaipur and when I was a child I never got out of Rajasthan. I saw a few places around when I was in college but never crossed the boundaries of the state. But deep down, I am a traveler and have always wanted to move out and see the world. I was tired of roaming around in Jaipur on my bicycle or Scooty. So one fine day after completing graduation, I told my parents that I wanted to shift to Mumbai. They told me to stay at a friend’s place for four days and get the feel of the city. Now, I took off from Jaipur to Mumbai in a jeep and while I was leaving I turned back and looked at my house and said to myself, I am never going to return. Deep down I was sure that I was going to make it big in Mumbai. And I was right, within just four days I bagged my first show, Ganga on Colors. I went for the auditions without telling anyone that I wanted to become an actor. Then I finally got a call stating that I have been selected. Initially my parents were a bit reluctant but later they allowed me to work in Mumbai. Now I am here and dong great. And I want to thank my fans because for them I have reached so far.
