MUMBAI : Recently it was revealed that veteran actress Kajol will be starring in an upcoming film called Salaam Venky. Now the trailer has been released, and it has got some great responses. Now many people are waiting for the release of the film and the cast of the film has already begun promotions for the film. We had recently reported that Kajol will be gracing the reality TV show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa this weekend as part of the film promotions. As we all know, one of the judges, Karan Johar, is a very good friend of the actresses’ so we can expect some fun banter and segments in the upcoming episode.
Other than the amazing performances from the celebrity contestants, viewers will also enjoy some entertainment. Host Maniesh Paul will host a fun activity and request Kajol and Karan to come on to the stage. Maniesh then asks Karan to share the name of Kajol’s crush from the film industry, other than Ajay Devgn, her husband. Karan immediately started writing the name of her crush on his slate, while Kajol sits there clueless.

Then Karan says, “She had a big crush on…” and then reveals his slate, which read the name of actor Akshay Kumar. Kajol smiles in agreement without denying it. Further on, Maniesh asks Kajol what KJo’s alternative career would be if he was not a director. Hilariously, Kajol suggested that he would be a choreographer. As the promo video comes to an end, we see Kajol and Karan re-creating the popular scene of the characters Rahul and Anjali and their iconic greeting style.
The film Salaam Venky also stars Vishal Jethwa, known for Mardaani 2, other than Kajol. This is a heart-warming story about a mother-son duo that teaches the true meaning of the celebration of life.
