KOLKATA: Popular Bengali film actor Jisshu Sengupta, who also acted in Hindi films like Barfi, Mardaani, andPiku, is making his debut in the South film industry with the NTR biopic.

Based on Telugu actor–filmmaker–politician NT Rama Rao, the film is directed by Krish Jagarlamudi. It stars actors Nandamuri Balakrishna as NT Rama Rao and Vidya Balan as NT Rama Rao’s first wife Basavatarakam. Tollywood actor Jisshu plays the role of L.V. Prasad in the film.

After wrapping up the shoot, today, Jisshu took to social media to thank Krish for giving him an opportunity to be a part of the film. Sharing two images, he wrote, ‘Wrapped up #NTRbiopic Thank u @DirKrish for giving me an opportunity to play the legendary L.V. Prasad. What an honour.’
