A certain section of the media had reported about Kannan Arunachalam making an entry in Life OK’s Triangle Films Company-produced Devon Ke Dev Mahadev, in which he will essay a role of a fisherman.

Mahadev will soon bring in a story of the famous Matsyagandha (Parvati as fisherman’s daughter). The story will have a plot of a childless fisherman and his wife desiring to have a kid. Eventually, the couple gets a baby while fishing. The baby is none other than an avatar of goddess Parvati. Eventually, the couple names the baby as ‘Matsyagandha’.
While Kannan Arunachalam has been finalised to essay the role of a fisherman, Jyoti Gauba has been signed to play the fisherman’s wife. Further, Anushka Sen will be returning to Mahadev after a gap having earlier essayed the role of younger Parvati.
When we contacted Jyoti Gauba, she confirmed saying, “Yes, I am doing Mahadev, but don’t know much about the character except that it’s a cameo.”
On the other hand Anushka Sen’s father too confirmed Anushka’s return.
