MUMBAI: The episode begins with Pune Police arriving to take Sonakshi for questioning. Rohit stops them and tells them that they cannot take her this late at night because it’s against the law. The police tell them that they have the necessary permissions and a lady officer with them. As they take Sonakshi away, Rohit tells her that he will always stand by her and she’s not alone. They take her to the police headquarters in Churchgate. Rohit and Suman leave together while Suman sends Jai to pick up Pulkit and Pari so that they reach the police station with them. Rohan and the rest of the family leave in another car. Suman talks to Rohit about how her behaviour has made Sonakshi lose trust in her because of which she didn’t even tell her about Pune. She mentions that she knows about their fake relationship. Netra had revealed to her about it and had stopped her from creating a scene at the Sippy house and breaking her bond with Sonakshi permanently. An ACP comes to question Sonakshi and she nervously blabbers even before he asks anything. He tells her to only give precise answers for what he asks. Meanwhile, Nishi badmouths about Sonakshi and tells the family that it’s good this happened before Veena talked to Suman about Rohit and Sonakshi’s engagement or else they would’ve gotten a daughter-in-law who is in contact with murderers. Deepa arrives there and tells Nishi that she has just been called for questioning so she cannot be accused like that. Nishi tells them that it’s so difficult to trust her because of her secrets to which Akash taunts her and says that even family members keep secrets. Nishi gets furious at his constant taunts, Pooja agrees with Akash and asks Nishi what’s wrong. The ACP interrogates Sonakshi and as she tells him the truth about going to Pune for the event he finds it odd that she didn’t charge Mhatre for an appearance. Rohit and everyone else pester the officers to let them meet Sonakshi. The ACP comes out and asks them to cooperate. He instructs the Hawaldar to keep Rohit and Suman out of the police station. Coming back to the interrogating, Sonakshi tells the ACP that she was being blackmailed as Mhatre had Pooja’s photos and videos. The ACP listens to everything but still is suspicious of her as she has no witnesses who can confirm her story. Meanwhile, Rohit gets a permission letter from a Minister who has been his patient to allow him to meet Sonakshi. The officer only allows Rohit to meet her as only his name is mentioned in the letter. The ACP tells Sonakshi that they suspect the murder was because of an affair so it’s possible that Mhatre had an affair with her. She is shocked and disgusted by the accusation and defends herself. As she mentions again that she was being blackmailed, Rohit enters the investigation chamber and hears this.
