MUMBAI: The episode begins with Rohit asking Sonakshi how she is to check if she has seen all the discussion about her on social media. She tells him that she’s on her way to book a Ganesh idol and everything seems fine. Meanwhile, Nishi rants about Sonakshi to YK who is sleeping because he stayed up all night at the police station. As she mentions Akash and the way he is taunting her, Pooja enters the room and asks what is wrong between both of them. YK and Nishi convince her that it’s a trivial sibling fight and she leaves to judge a college event feeling relieved. Later, Sonakshi takes her phone out to post a photo with the idol but she sees all the messages and updates flooding in. She gets shocked as she reads all the news accusing her of an extra marital affair with Mhatre. Meanwhile, YK talks to Akash and assures him that they will reveal the truth at the right time. Akash agrees to cooperate with them for the time being. Rohit meets the ACP and shows him the news about Sonakshi. He asks him to release his statement to the press and clarify that Sonakshi is not involved in this. The ACP tells him that only Mhatre and his brother can confirm Sonakshi’s statement and after that he can release his statement; but they are nowhere to be found. Mhatre and Nikhil are hiding somewhere in Mumbai with the help of a person who used to work at their hotel. They plan on flying out of India in 4 days until which they would stay underground. Pulkit suggests Sonakshi to not go on the set today as everyone would gossip about her and make her feel bad. She tells him that everyone on the set is like family and asks him to not worry. As she reaches the set and gets out of the car, journalists surround her and bombard her with questions. She clarifies that she has nothing to do with Mhatre and she has given her statement to the police which will lead them to the truth eventually. As she walks away, one journalist questions her about having an affair with Mhatre which stuns her. At the Sippy Mansion, Naren asks Rohit to stay away from Sonakshi and her scandals. Rohit gets furious and argues with Naren. He tells him that until yesterday they were about to make Sonakshi their daughter-in-law and today he’s calling her a vile actress. He tells him that he’s not like him who uses people for their good and then throws them like trash when their work is done. Veena slaps Rohit because of the way he spoke to Naren. After Sonakshi’s shoot, her co-actors talk bad about her behind her back but Sonakshi hears them and gives them a befitting reply. Netra intervenes and takes Sonakshi to her room to talk. She reminds her that she had warned her to not have any connections with Mhatre. She asks Sonakshi to reveal to the public that she did all of this to save Pooja Sippy’s image. Sonakshi refuses to do so and asks Netra to do whatever the channel is asking her to. She knows that the channel would demand to replace her, so she tells Netra that she will cooperate and shoot scenes accordingly.
