MUMBAI: Television actress & film maker Kanika Maheshwari has the best of both worlds.
Last seen on television before her maternity break, Kanika is back, this time as a debut writer, director & producer & her first short film has already made it to international film festivals.
Her maiden project, Forever Whim swiped award at the Melbourne Independent City Film Awards & was nominated at the Chicago South Asian Film Festival.
Kanika took a quick solo trip to the US & did some sight seeing.
Kanika's short film starring herself was premiered at the Oakbrook auditorium. Kanika picked a bling outfit for the night & made for a yummy mummy.
Kanika, a mother to a 3 year old is in a much fitter space now & seems all ready to be back on the screen. She'd worked throughout her pregnancy & had close-up shots. The actress religiously practices yoga if her social media posts are anything to go by & has lost all her pregnancy weight & is glowing than ever!
