Be it on the cricket field or on camera, Kapil Dev has never been one to hide his emotions. Back in 2000, he broke down on Hard Talk unable to face host Karan Thapar's fiery questions. Seven years later, tears flowed again but this time on the special Independence Day episode of Zee's Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007, where both Indian and Pakistani contestants paid tribute to their motherland. When quizzed over it, Vishal replied, "I did get emotional because he (Anik) sang so beautifully. But it was for only few seconds. I'm sure the media is going to project this as headline news. But I'd like to confess that I'm a deeply patriotic person."
