Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover are the faces of comedy on Indian television. Post their mid air tiff which had been a talk of the town for quite some time now. The TRPs of Kapil Sharma’s show dwindled steadily after the altercation.  However, the comedian is leaving no stones unturned to mend things and mitigate all the ill-feelings and acrimony that transpired between them in the past.

Today Sunil Grover celebrates his fortieth birthday today and on the occasion Kapil tweeted “Wish you a very happy birthday @WhoSunilGrover paji... may god bless you with all the happiness in this world. Lots of love always J.”

Does Kapil really mean it or is it a formality that requires to be done to perk up things between the two? 

Sunil had earlier tweeted “My intentions are to act and to entertain with dignity. For me money can’t be the only reason to do something and not to do something. (SIC).”

However when Kapil was asked about the return of Sunil Grover to the show, he was quoted as saying, “Sunil is a friend and brother to me and I even went to meet him. Let’s see, he can come back whenever he wishes to.”

Now it will be interesting to see if just a mere birthday wish on Twitter is able to shake up Sunil and amend their professional and personal relationship.

Now it is up to time to reveal how Sunil reacts to the wish. Would he accept his wishes graciously? or Would he prefer to be taciturn? In any case there will be a lot of fodder for all and sundry talk about!
