Karan Mehra, the Captain of Kolkata Baabu Moshayes is an unhappy and disappointed man! Well, a sudden and unexpected illness has forced him to take to the sidelines, instead of leading his team for their first match in this year's Box Cricket League that kick-starts today. Kolkata's opening match is with Jaipur Joshileys today, and Karan is presently wishing his fellow mates on their group created on Whatsapp. Wondering why? Well, Karan has developed a cyst on his cheek as a result of which one side of his cheek is terribly swollen. He is presently on antibiotics administered to dissolve the cyst. Says Karan, "I am very disappointed, as I cannot play today's opening match. I had chalked out such great plans as captain, but unfortunately cannot get to the ground. I am missing my team a lot, but wish them all the luck. Thankfully, we have a Plan B in place, and Alokk Narula will captain the side in my absence." Karan adds, "I hope I get better and join my team for our second match day after tomorrow."
