Karan Oberoi is all gung ho about his new projects! And this time he rises above the small screen, and is all set to hit the silver screen with not one but two films! "I am extremely finicky about the roles I do!"-Karan Oberoi The first film which Karan will be seen in is titled Lori, and is being directed by Ram Gopal Verma's assistant Sachit. "Yes, I am doing the film in which I play the lead and am very excited about the same," affirms the actor. He further says, "I play an anthropologist and also an atheist. The story basically deals with relationships." Rituparna Sengupta who was seen in Main Meri Patni aur Woh opposite Rajpal Yadav, will be essaying the role of Karan's wife in Lori.Karan will be leaving for London in a week's time and will immediately start shooting thereafter. Talking about his second flick, he says, "Well, thats again with the same camp! It's an out and out comedy film, and very light too!" explains Oberoi. The film is still untitled and will go on floors post the first one. The reason for not been seen on any of the shows on television after Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin on Sony is his finicky nature. He says, "Yes, I am very picky about the shows or films I do." He continues, "When they approached me for Lori, I heard the narrative and then waited for the screenplay and dialogues. And my instant reaction was that 'I am all game for it'." This is not the first time that Karan will be seen on the big screen, his first film was Kiss Kis Ko with his Band of Boys group. The group will be out with three more videos soon of their latest album.
