MUMBAI: Veena is shocked with Nivedita's allegations and asks her why she was supporting her mother. Nivedita screams at her saying if she did not believe her, she should ask her daughter who knew the truth. Shivani confirms that Prerna has indeed tied the knot with Bajaj. Nivedita then shows Prerna and Bajaj's wedding photograph to Veena.

While Veena bows down her head in shame, Mohini continues to taunt her over her family's so-called sanskars. She goes on to accuse Veena of selling her daughter to the highest bidder saying they are pretending to not know about this.

Mohini then faints recalling her son's condition and Veena and Shivani offer her water. She refuses to have water and continues to lash out at them. Veena asks for forgiveness but Mohini is in no mood to listen to her. She curses Prerna saying she would suffer the same amount of heartbreak as her son her entire life and would never be happy. She also says that one day she would return but would go through the same pain her son did. 

After Mohini leaves, Veena quizzes Shivani when exactly she came to know about Prerna's marriage with Bajaj. Shivani says when she was going to parlour, Ronit told her about it. Veena slaps Shivani and asks why she kept them in dark. Veena takes out her anger on Shivani and continues to hit her while her family defended her saying she did not get the opportunity to explain.

Anurag lies listlessly on a hospital bed and Moloy is pained to see his son in such a situation. Mohini decides she cannot let her family break and will ensure that everybody comes out of it quickly. When Anurag comes back home, Nivedita makes tea for him and tries to strike a conversation with him saying they would soon have to head to Switzerland for an important conference. Anurag is lost in Prerna's memories and doesn't pay attention to what Nivedita is saying. Nivedita comes out of Anurag's room and breaks down.

Mohini asks Nivedita to stop crying and be strong. She tells her to attend the Switzerland conference with Anupam and she would handle Anurag at home.

Veena in the meanwhile decides to teach Prerna a lesson and heads to Bajaj house. There she comes to know that the newlyweds have left for Switzerland for honeymoon.
