MUMBAI: The episode begins with Mohini and Nivi expressing how Molloy might be happy to see Komolika as the house's daughter-in-law and hear about Tapur and Sahil's marriage. Mohini then tries to contact Komolika but she disconnects the call. Komolika is stuck in the cupboard when a nurse walks in and opens it. She manages to escape from the cupboard. Moloy returns with Prerna and Anurag. Everybody is excited and welcome him with big smiles. Nivi informs Moloy about Tapur's engagement that is set to take place the next day.

Moloy cannot speak, but he continues to gaze intently. The nurse states that Moloy needs rest and wheels him to the room. Anurag asks Anupam to help her with the same and goes to meet Prerna. He thanks Prerna for her help, and she simply states that his father has always been like family with her. Komolika returns and meets Moloy. She lies about her foot and claims that she fell in the temple. Prerna also enters and Mohini asks Moloy to not believe anyone. She then tells him that she got Anurag married to a woman of his choice.

In the flashback, Anurag is seen telling Moloy that he didn't marry Komolika but Prerna in the temple. Hence, his second marriage with Komolika is invalid. While he loves Prerna, Mohini favours Komolika more. Back to reality, Mohini asks Moloy to bless Komolika. Komolika then hugs Moloy and thanks to him for helping her become Anurag's wife. As Komolika is about to touch his feet, Molloy pours hot soup on her. She screams in pain and yells at the nurse. As she is about to slap the nurse, Prerna stops her. Prerna then says that the nurse was not at fault and hence should not bear the brunt. Mohini asks Prerna to not start anything today. To this, Prerna says that she should say the same to Komolika.

As Komolika leaves, she is mad at Prerna. Later, Prerna comes to Moloy's room and notices Anurag asleep next to his bed. She puts a quilt on Moloy. The next day, Prerna is decorating the entrance of the house. Anurag walks over to her and helps her out. As Prerna is standing on a ladder to decorate, she slips. Just then, Anurag helps her by holding her. Komolika walks in and is shocked to see this.
