MUMBAI: The episode begins with Bajaj spotting Siddharth Malhotra kidnap the groom. Parineeti meets Prerna and the latter tells her that she got forcibly married.

However, during their dance performance, the groom escapes. Prerna and Bajaj reach home to receive a warm welcome from his family. A woman introduces herself as Bajaj’s maasi. She also tells Prerna to think of her as maasi. The maasi introduces a girl named Tanvi as her adopted daughter.

Nivedita is shocked to see Anurag’s condition. Anurag wants her sister’s support. She tells him if it’s about Prerna then she won’t help. Anurag tells her that it’s about destroying Bajaj. Anupam thinks Anurag is doing all this to get back Prerna.

Prerna finds a few business papers of Anurag in Bajaj’s room. When she is about to ask about the papers, she learns about her mother's arrival. She goes to meet her mother and wants to hug her. Veena tells her to keep distance. Veena asks her why she got married to Bajaj. Prerna tells her that she wanted to marry Bajaj. Veena tells her not to lie. Prerna breaks down but doesn’t want to reveal the truth.

She composes herself and tells her mother that Mr Bajaj is better than Anurag for her. Veena refuses to believe her. Veena tells her that she knows why Bajaj married her. Prerna recalls everything and wonders if her mother actually knows the truth.
