MUMBAI: Kasturi was a very popular and successful show on television. It aired in 2007 and abruptly went off air in 2009.

The show started Karan Patel and Shubhangi Atre in the lead roles, and they were considered as one of the most loved couples of television.

The serial was produced by Balaji Telefilms and made both Karan and Shubhangi overnight television stars.

Now, we came across a throwback video of Karan narrating how because of him the show went off air overnight.

Karan had come on the Zee TV’s talk show Jaazbaat where he said that the serial had made him an overnight star and maybe he couldn’t handle it.

He further said that he would come on the sets being high, would just get angry and throw tantrums, and then make his co-actors wait for hours as he would take him on sweet time to come on the sets.

Karan said that the show went off air because the unit and makers couldn’t take his tantrums anymore and decided to end the show suddenly.

The actor said he had lost the plot back then, but post that, when he didn’t get work, it hit him hard about how wrong he had been. He also feels his parents didn’t tell him anything as they knew there was no use.

Karan said he is guilty about what happened but doesn’t dwell upon it. He has moved on to become a better person. He says what’s beautiful is that the same production house that he troubled trusted him and gave him the lead role in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, which changed his life forever and made him a superstar on television.

In the end, he says that one learns from the things they do wrong and he has left that side of him behind and never looks back as he is a much better and mature person.

Well, there is no doubt that today, Karan is loved by his fans immensely and is one of the most loved stars on television.
