MUMBAI: The latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 12 started with roll-over contestant Amrita Trivedi from Madhya Pradesh. Amrita used her first lifeline on the first question itself on Monday's episode to answer the Rs 1000 question.
On the show, Amrita thanked her mother for taking care of her and making sure that all her dreams are fulfilled despite being a single parent. She revealed on the show that her mother doesn't let her go out easily and she takes her mother along with her even while stepping out for shopping.
Amrita was nervous, but host Amitabh Bachchan made her comfortable and she managed to answer the questions swiftly. Amrita impressed Big B with her knowledge and answered one question after the other. She won Rs 12,50,000 and post that decided to quit the show on 13th question despite using the 'Video call a friend' as she was not sure about the answer.
Post Amrita's departure from the show, Vivek Kumar from Madhya Pradesh sat on the hot seat to play the game. Vivek is a traffic constable posted in Madhya Pradesh and his wife is also a constable and she is posted at Gwalior. During the introduction video, Vivek revealed that as they are in a long-distance relationship their life is currently on a halt. He also spoke how much he loves his wife.
Vivek's wife Preeti also spoke about how when they got married they thought that being in the same department they might be posted together, but nothing of that sort happened. Vivek shared that they have been trying for the last three years for transfer but it is not happening.
Vivek spoke about his married life with host Big B also and talked about how they talk to each other on a video call while cooking or whenever they get time.
Mr Bachchan requested the police officials and the heads of both Vivek and Preeti's department who are looking into their transfer, to quickly do something and let the husband-wife live together.
Vivek managed to answer questions with the lifelines and answered most of the questions accurately. During one of the questions, Vivek decided to take the help of 'Ask The Expert' Anand Kumar. However, due to network issues, Anand Kumar's voice was not audible to host Big B and the contestant.
The KBC 12 host came up with an idea and asked him to answer the question by referring to them as numbers 1 and 2. Anand Kumar showed his index finger and answered it as 'Option 1'.
Anand Kumar helped Vivek and he managed to answer the question correctly.
Vivek has already won Rs 1,60,000 and will continue to play the game in the next episode.
