Sony’s Comedy Circus- Maha Sangram will have some not so funny moments this week. Stand-up comedian Khayali who made his comeback with partner Karishma Tanna by public demand this Saturday, will walk out this week. Khayali is not happy with the way he is being treated in the show and has now put forward some demands to come back. Khayali along with Karishma were the first jodi to be eliminated but they were back in the third week along with Sharad-Bharti-Paresh by public demand. Khayali was promised a writer, a creative person and scripts in advance so that they can rehearse well before he was recalled by public demand. But he did not get any of the above as promised and despite performing well for two weeks, he found himself in the danger zone. He chose to walk off rather than having a face-off with Rajeev Nigam who was also in the danger zone. Khayali says, “I was promised a writer and a creative person when I made a comeback in the show. I also asked the producers to give me the script in advance so that Karishma and I can prepare our act before time. But we weren’t given anything as promised.” He adds, “When I made a comeback, we scored very well. The coming week will have many celebrities paired with each team and we were with Aditya Redij. We performed so well that even the judges gave us good marks and also appreciated our act. But still I was shocked to find myself in the danger zone.” Khayali also claims that they were shooting for two episodes back to back on the same day and while everyone else had their second script, Khayali and Karishma did not. He says, “I spoke to the producers Vipul D Shah and Sanjiv Sharma about that too, a day before the shooting but they said that I will get it on the sets itself. Everyone had rehearsed both their acts by that time, and we couldn’t. I was not even given the second script on the sets and I realized they had already planned to evict us.” Tanna says, “I am still part of the show and only Khayali has walked out.” Sharma from Optimystix says, “Khayali is little short-tempered and he panics when he is under pressure. He will come back because he usually does. If he doesn’t then we will have to find a new partner for Karishma.” To that Khayali says, “The producers have called me back but I have made certain demands and only if they are fulfilled I will be back on the show.” This week the show will have a celebrity paired with the different teams. Aditya Redij will be seen with Khayali and Karishma while Dhairya Sorecha will be with Bharti-Sharad-Paresh. Supriya Kumari aka Amoli will be seen with Krushna Abhishek and Sudesh Lahiri and Pratima Kannan will be seen with Rajeev Thakur-Rashmi Desai-Saloni Daini. Melissa Pais will be paired with Rajesh Kumar and Rajeev Nigam while the talented Ali Asgar will be seen with Swapnil Joshi and VIP.
