Sushmita Mukherjee is one helluva talented artist.
She has acted in innumerable television shows and Bollywood films in the likes of Ishqbaaaz, Dil Boley Oberoi and Krishna Chali London on Star Plus, Madhubala and Balika Vadhu on Colors; and films in the likes of Kya Kool Hai Hum and its parts, 1920 London, Phir Se... and recently, Batti Gul Meter Chalu among a host of other shows and films.
She is a veteran and knows her craft well. But did you know that Sushmita has not yet played her dream role?
We asked Sushmita about her dream role and she said, “With the age group I am in, I want to play a role like that of Meryl Streep. Her later age films like that of Postcards from the Edge are dynamic and I really wish to bring that alive on Indian celluloid.”
