There is only one word that comes to your mind when the name Karan Kundra is coined… hot. Yes, he is an actor who came, saw and conquered the hearts of millions. This young lad who has always hit the headlines for his on and off relationship with Kritika Kamra, is currently hogging the limelight for anchoring the crime based show, Gumraah (Channel V and Star Plus). "My experience with Gumraah has been amazing so far. I would say it openly that people need balls to anchor such kind of a show. The way it is being shot and the manner in which the series is dealing with hard-hitting stories, it has proved to be an eye opener for the masses, especially the teens. Currently, we are working on a story wherein a boy rapes his own sister and asks his friends to do the same. I was shocked when I heard about it. It created a mind blowing effect on me," said the TV heartthrob who gained immense popularity by acting in Kitani Mohabbat Hai (Imagine TV). Many are not aware that Karan hails from a very rich business family. So why did he take up acting? "I would ask why not acting? I have done all possible genres on television and movie, like I have been a dancer, a driver for a show, have played 19 year old brat for a movie, a negative character and now an anchor. So I think I have tried pretty much everything in acting. I don't act for money, it's my passion." He continued, "In fact, I have got great reviews for my movie, Pure Punjabi, which is considered to be the greatest hit amongst Punjabi movies this year." So what about television actors eyeing the big screen? "I think it is the other way around. Bollywood is coming to television now. And even TV actors are getting roped in for big movies. The best example is Ayushman Khurana (Vicky Donor)." As we mentioned earlier, affair of Karan-Kritika always made it to the front page. They have parted ways as of now and recently they denied to shake a leg together when they were approached for the upcoming show Nach Baliye. "I said earlier, I don't work for money but I need creative satisfaction. And I don't want to earn money by mere dancing. Talking about Kritika and mine's relationship, we both are someone who doesn't bother about what others say about us. We still talk to each other and even meet whenever possible. We even get spotted together at parties as we have a bunch of common friends and we hang out together," stated Karan. Finally, he bid adieu by stating this to his fans, "I want to thank everyone. Obviously without you guys and my family support, I wouldn't be here. I take criticism of my fans in positive stride and work on my mistakes and lacking. Please keep supporting and loving me forever." Great going, Karan!!!
