It’s that time of the year when everything turns beautiful and magical. And with the fat and lovable Santa Claus coming around and bringing us gifts, all of us wait for our wishes to come true. And while we usher in the festivities, we also thought of speaking to the beautiful Krystle D’souza, who being a Catholic, has been celebrating the festival with grandeur year-after-year. As we chatted with the girl at the launch of her show Ekk Nayi Pehchaan (Jay and Kinnari Mehta) that premiered this week on Sony Entertainment Television, she recalled her childhood days when she enjoyed Christmas a lot with her family and friends. “I enjoy bringing in all the decorations and decking up the place. We have the entire set up related to Christmas with the crib and other stuffs. We get a Christmas tree at home that I love decorating. It’s also the time to have lots of chocolates and cakes and enjoy the time with your loved ones. Also special are the lovely gifts that come your way,” said a smiling Krystle. So what is she expecting as a gift from Santa this year, we asked. And she replied with her radiant smile, “I have already got my gift. This show is the best gift I could have asked from Santa. And with the show airing just two days prior to Christmas, it’s truly very special to me. And I am really excited about my new project.” The show will see Krystle playing Sakshi, a confident girl and someone who will educate her mother-in-law played by actress Poonam Dhillon and give her a new lease of life. Sharing some interesting tidbits about the show, she observed, “When I started doing shows, my mom once told me that now I truly look like an actress and have a resemblance with Poonamji when she was young. And now I am playing her daughter-in-law. Such is life, amazing. People do say that we look like mother and daughter and I am happy sharing screen presence with her.” We are sure this Christmas will be very special for Krystle with her show doing wonders.
