Rajan Shahi’s show Kuch Toh Log Kahenge on Sony Entertainment has a nice storyline and an appealing star cast. Still it has not managed to gain the desired numbers. If that was not enough, the production house is facing some more trouble now. News has just flown in that BMC officials have demolished a part of Kuch Toh Log Kahenge’s set yesterday (12 January 2012).

A source from the sets informed that the studio where Rajan put up his set at Mudh Island, Mumbai, was owned by Bhatia. BMC had filed a case against Bhatia for illegal construction of the studio and after the civic body won the battle, the court ordered its demolition.

“They came in yesterday and destroyed a part of it,” the source added.

Tellychakkar.com called up Rajan Shahi and after a patient hearing he refused to comment on the issue. However, Rukhsar Rehman, who plays the role of Dr Mallika, confirmed the news and said, “Yes, the set has been demolished but I don’t know the reason behind it. As only a part of it has been brought down, I don't think the shooting will halt, but some problems might crop up."

Furthermore, the source also informed that telecast will continue uninterrupted as there is a sufficient bank of episodes but the production house will have to shell out quite a dough to re-built the demolished portion.

Hmm…it seems BMC officials are coming down hard on those who toy with the law. However, we hope that the show continues without any problems and keep entertaining the masses.

We shall soon come up with more updates on the development!!!
