MUMBAI: The episode begins with Maira asking Kartika about her studies. She tells her that she has done well in her entrance exams and will need to leave the house soon. Maira says that she feels something weird in the house. They reach the corridor and Karan is thinking of how to stop the marriage. Kreetika asks him to give an autograph to Maira but he refuses.

Kreetika asks what's wrong with him and he tells him he's suffering from hypertension. Sherlyn constantly calls Prithvi but he does not answer her calls. She thinks of calling him from another number. Ganesh is skeptical of giving his phone to her and she gives back the phone to Ganesh knowing that Prithvi won't answer the call.

Karan, Srishti, and Sherlyn think of how to stop the marriage. Sarla enters Preeta's room and thinks what Janki told her of Preeta not wanting to marry Prithvi. Sarla explains to Preeta that she wants to see her smile like before. She asks Preeta what is she hiding. Preeta denies hiding anything.

Janki stops Preeta from lying to Sarla. Preeta says she is happy to marry Prithvi. Janki refuses to believe it. Preeta tells them that though Prithvi made a mistake he apologized for it, unlike Karan who punished her.

Rishabh calls Karan but he does not answer his calls. Later Karan tells Rishabh that he is going to do something that will satisfy him. Karan thinks of hurting Preeta so that she won't be able to marry Prithvi. Janki tells Sarla that Preeta is still talking about Karan when she is about to marry Prithvi and tries to hint at her liking for him.

Rakhi asks Dadi what she feels about the new doctor. Kareena tells her that he is very professional and she thinks Dadi will get better. Dadi says that she is thinking of what Sherlyn told about Preeta. Rakhi tells Dadi that she doesn't need Preeta and will get used to the new doctor soon. Sherlyn rushes somewhere and Kareena asks Sherlyn where she is going. Sherlyn gets perplexed.
