Something that goes wrong is the actual meaning of Lara Lappa. Fact Enterprise Ltd brings a new slapstick comedy show on DD1, which is yet to be launched. It’s also a comeback show for Kunickaa Sandanand Lall. “Lara Lappa is a unique and confusing story. We are planning to have 421 episodes of this tale,” says Rajiv Kashyap, Chairman and MD of Fact Enterprise Ltd. Further elaborating on the storyline he says, “The tale revolves around a sadhu who cursed a number of people turning them into beads that he strung up into a garland. The story unfolds as one by one, each bead turns back into the original person who was cursed by the sadhu. So in that way the main character is the last bead to turn back into a person. Till then you have to wait and watch.” Kunickaa has been busy these last few months handling her restaurants and spa business. She is now all set to make a comeback. “I have taken this show as I liked the concept and my co-stars. It has a well defined role that I was looking for and so it feels great to come back,” she utters. The other star cast includes Anang Desai, Ali Asgar, Rakesh Paul, Smita Bhansal, Payal Shrivastav, Meenaxi Jhadav (Marathi heroine), Ratan Vaishney and junior Nana Patekar. The time slot and on air date is still being kept under wraps. Well let’s see whether this show makes people laugh or producers cry. It will be for the audiences to decide.
