It is confirmed now that bubbly Pratyusha Banerjee is no more. In a tragic development, the actress is believed to have committed suicide, as per initial information, a news which was first flashed by Tellychakkar.com. Latest is that many actors and industry friends have rushed to Kokilaben Hospital, where the deceased body has been kept and soon will be sent for post mortem. First to reach the spot were Producer Vikas Gupta, Debina Bonnerjee, Gurmeet Choudhary and Sara Khan (Bigg Boss), as per eye witness. The actors were seen shedding tears and consoling each other. Later, many celebs walked in namely Vishal Singh, Alan Kapoor, Pooja Bose, Ratan Rajpoot, Dolly Bindra, Ajaz Khan, Jay Bhanusali, Mahhi Vij, Jay Soni among others. However, there is a twist in the tale. There are whispers in the fraternity that the death could also be a case of foul play, something which is being investigated by the cops. In the thick of things, Pratyusha’s boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh is under the scanner. “Rahul brought Pratyusha to the hospital. She had blood in her mouth. Soon after she was pronounced death, he went absconding, much to everyone's suspicion” informed a credible source. Another eye witness shared that Pratyusha had sindoor on her forehead and apparently was gearing up for her official wedding ceremony. So what really happened which forced a free-spirited and strong woman like Pratyusha to end her life? Or is there more to the story than meets the eye? Pratyusha, over the last few weeks, looked unhappy, as per her industry friends. However, many believe she could have never killed herself. “Something is fishy. It’s being said she hanged herself, but she apparently had no marks on her neck. She had blood on her mouth, which is quite strange,” said an actor on grounds of anonymity. Neighbours at the building near Oshiwara where Pratyusha used to stay shared with one of our reporters that the actress was apparently found in the toilet of her apartment in an unconscious state before Rahul rushed her to the hospital. So why was Pratyusha unhappy? Here’s what we scooped out. We have been told that Pratyusha learnt about Rahul two-timing on her. He apparently was also having an affair with television actress Saloni Sharma. Quite a revelation!!! We called up Saloni and she said, “Everything is false. I do know them but I have not met them for a long time. I don’t want to comment any further.” She disconnected the call in a huff. We will follow up on the matter. Apparently she committed suicide at her Oshiwara residence. Her body was found by her boyfriend and her cook. We haven't yet found any suicide note.
