MUMBAI: Multiple times Grand Slam champion and tennis legend Leander Paes was recently spotted at a popular suburban club. He met Tennis Premier League founders  Kunal Thakur and Mrunal Jain and even spoke to them about his team Mumbai Leon Army. The league, which has teams owned by popular celebrities such as Sonali Bendre, Rakul Preet Singh, and Shashank Khaitan, will be held in December.

The first season was launched amidst much fanfare by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Vishal Bhardwaj last year. It's interesting how more and more actors are turning into entrepreneurs nowadays.

Mrunal says, 'The response has gone beyond expectations. Now we are getting ready for season 2. It will  be bigger and better. Hard work never goes in vain. We are planning to go international. Watch out for our new brand ambassadors.'
Adds Kunal, 'The coming season will have top-notch players and more celebrities. We hope to make this a platform where our young players will rub shoulders with the global best.'

Season one saw names like Leander Paes, Ankita Raina, Shashank Khaitan, Vishal Bhardwaj, and Himesh Reshammiya grace the league.
