Leena Jumani, whose character Mala in Colors' early evening show Kairi is having a major problem as Imarti Devi (Hema Singh) is dead against the match between her and Anuj (Jay Bhanushali). But she is not ready to let go and will fight for love. Talking about similar issues in real life, 21 year old Leena, who is officially single and not ready to mingle, says, “Parents need to understand that if they don’t let their children live the life they wish, how will they be happy and if they are unhappy how will they take care of them.” She also adds that sometime in real life caste issue can be a major stumbling block. “However, a lot depends on both the boy and girl and how much they love each other to face the odds. But we are not talking about caste issue in our show.” And what about her Mr Right, “He has to be good natured, and need not be like Salman Khan in looks. Last but not the least; he should be responsible and respectful to all including my parents.” So has she found someone? “No, I want to give myself one more year before I think of plunging into a relationship. But then love is not something over which we have any control, I just might fall in love with someone special tomorrow itself.” She is quite sure that the kind of guy she will eventually choose, her parents will not have an issue like her on screen in-laws.
