Life OK’s popular show, Mahakumbh – Ek Rahasya, Ek Kahaani produced by Arvind Babbal has been keeping the ratings chart busy of late with an increase in numbers. 

The mytho thriller, which was planned to be a start-to-finish concept sanctioned for about 120 episodes, was supposed to end on 9 July. But there is good news for the fans of Mahakumbh now. 

The news coming in is that the channel is upbeat about the recent surge in the ratings of Mahakumbh, and has arrived at a decision of giving the show an extension. 

A reliable source from the set informed us, “Mahakumbh has got an extension of nearly 32 episodes. So that means the show will run for the next two months or so. The entire unit has been notified of this new development, and the entire cast and crew are extremely delighted with the news.” 

When contacted, a source, who wanted to maintain anonymity confirmed us about the extension news. 

We tried to buzz Producer Arvind Babbal, and congratulated him via a text, but he chose not to reply. 

With a lot of newly launched shows not able to survive the heat of the competition, and fizzling out in quick time, guess Life OK has here taken a move to sustain and improve the ratings of a show which is already doing well.
