STAR Plus' show Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, that is aired on 8.30 pm, is going through a major high point. The relationship between Jeevika (Krystle D'Souza) and her sister Maanvi (Nia Sharma) has strained due to family reasons and Jeevika has asked the latter to leave Jeevika's house and never come back. This news has devastated Maanvi and she is heartbroken for Jeevika will never talk to her again and Maanvi can’t live without her sister.

And while her onscreen avatar is going through an emotional trauma, Nia is having a tough time too. Before your mind comes up with different kind of reasons for the same, let tellychakkar.com reveal the actual reason to you. “You have to stuff your eyes with glycerin. We have had days where we shoot only crying scenes from morning to night and at the end of day you can’t even open your eyes, they itch a lot. Things are further complicated by the way TV industry functions, you have to give equal emotional outburst for all types of takes, be it master , close up, etc," Nia reveals.

In fact, she also tells us that to portray her character well onscreen she has started to think like her character would: "I have started to think like Maanvi and internalize her situation; this helps me to work on the perfect timing i.e. when to drop a tear or when to hold it back." Nia, who debuted with Kaali Ek Agnipariksha that aired on the same channel is excited to be a part of this Cinevistaas’ show, “I am quite happy to be a part of a daily which is maintaining a good TRP (3.5) without unnecessary drama. As far as the current emotional upheaval is concerned, it is situational and will get resolved soon."

Nia is also very friendly with Kushal Tandon who plays her love interest Virat. "Kushal and I are best buddies on sets; we are constantly on loggerheads taking friendly digs at each other. This banter has made things easy for both of us and has resulted in a great on- screen chemistry. Not only this, we are able to react very well to each other's cues.” So can something brew between the two in the future? “No, as we are completely opposites. He is in a different world and I am in my own zone. Apart from that, Kushal is older than me and has seen a lot in life and is constantly advising me on relationships, break up’s etc. He treats me like a kid," ends Nia.
