Popularly known as Soniya of Bidaai, she has bagged another serial on Star Plus. The pretty actress has replaced Nidhi Seth in Sangam as Kaveri, Ganga's sister in the show. She is pretty excited about her new venture. "Yes I'm playing the role of Kaveri in the show," confirms Madhura Were you aware of the replacement? "I don't know about that. I have not even met the actress who was playing Kaveri. I was called for a look test and it did match with the character and I was finalised." Have you seen any episodes of the show? "Well yes I have seen three episodes. The briefing of the storyline was given to me and my character was also explained to me. For now I'm enjoying myself," she chirps. A source reveals that she was also offered Balaji's Kambakth Ishq. "She was selected to play one of the leads in the show. Now as Madhura has taken up this show Ekta Kapoor wants her to give more time for her show. And it seems nothing has materialised between Madhur and Ekta after that."
