The gorgeous 'Siya' of Indian television, Madirakshi Mundle, will soon be back entertaining masses in a new avatar.
The actress, who is the epitome of beauty and grace, as per sources, has been roped in to play the female lead in Rashmi Sharma's next for Sony TV.
Rashmi, maker of blockbuster shows like Shakti, Sasural Simar Ka on Colors and Saathiya on Star Plus, is working on a love story for Sony, is what we have been told.
"The essence is that of a modern day Romeo-Juliet. Casting is on with Madirakshi being the first actor to be brought on board," informs a source.
The South star, who dived into Indian television ocean with Siya Ke Ram (Star Plus), is said to be quite kicked about getting to play a contemporary role and is prepping up for the part.
We buzzed Madirakshi for a comment but she did not revert till the time of publishing the article.
We also dropped a text message to Producer Rashmi Sharma and Sony boss Danish Khan but are yet to hear from them.
