MUMBAI: Navratri is the years’ time which is awaited by everyone  eagerly  to welcome the different avatars of Devis and seek their blessings. This year also everyone is welcoming them but not in the grand avatar as every year but still making sure their stay is cherished. Madrakshi Mundle who essays the role of Parvati in Sony Entertainment Television’s Vighnaharta Ganesh decided to do Kanyapuja on the sets keeping everyone’s safety in mind.   

Madrakshi decided to cook food and give  it to the daughters of the people who work on her set such as spot boys, makeup man, light men etc. This way she thought her kanyapujan would also be done and the safety of the girls can also be in tacked. Speaking about the same she said “Navratri is my favorite time of the year, from going to different pandals, garba and everything related to it, I love it. But this year we are not able to do anything ,so I decided at least I should do  Kanyapujan because this is the most celebrated ritual of Navratri week. So, the only way it is possible, if I cook food and rather than bringing the little girls home, I give it to their parents. Like this my pooja is also done and they all are also safe”

Currently in the show the viewers will watch How Parvati gets angry with Ganesh for not following her orders.
