Actor Mahesh Thakur, who is known for playing the role of ‘daddy cool’, is trying very hard to break the image and become a strict one. Mahesh, who is currently busy shooting for his new show Mere Rang Mein Rangne Waali (Rajshri Productions) in Life OK, will be essaying the role of a strict dad in this show. During the launch of the show, Mahesh candidly commented, “In this show I am playing the role of LD’s (Samridh Bawa) father, who is very strict in nature. He is traditional and upholds their family values”. “Usually, I portray the role of very cute and loving dad, but this time it is going to be absolutely different. And this time I am trying to shed off the cool daddy image as soon as possible. Even the look that I am essaying in this show compliments my traditional character”, added the actor. Speaking about the character, the actor added, “My son LD aka Liladhar (Samridh Bawa) ended up marrying Radha (Pranali Ghogare), and I will definitely not be happy with such an incident. But I will always want my son to realize his responsibility towards Radha and face the consequences of his own mistake”. The actor’s association with this production house has been for a long time. Talking about his journey with Rajshri, Mahesh commented, “My association with this production house has been long. I have also done films with this house. I always wanted to do a television serial with them, but earlier it did not happen. So, this time as soon as I received the opportunity, I grabbed it”. Well for the audiences it will be a bit difficult to see Mahesh in a strict daddy image, but we wish the actor all the luck in his new attempt.
