Zee TV’s Fear Files will now see yet another interesting story, with Malini Kapoor, Puneet Vashisht and Ashnoor Kaur being part of the storyline.

The story is about the manner in which Maa Durga protects and saves a family from the evil spirit. Malini who was last seen in Zee TV’s Rab Se Sohna Isshq will essay the god-fearing and dutiful wife and mother, who believes in God. Her husband, essayed by Puneet will be a person who does not believe in God. The story is about the fight between the evil powers and the positive powers of Maa Durga, and how goodness overcomes the evil at last. Ashnoor will play the couple’s only kid who faces the wrath of the evil power initially, but every time she is attacked, Maa Durga will come to her rescue.

When contacted, Malini Kapoor told Tellychakkar.com, “Yes, I am presently shooting for Fear Files. This is a nice story on Maa Durga and coincidentally, this has been planned during the Navratri. So I am blessed to be part of it. I have a Bengali get-up in the episode; I am this God- fearing woman in the story, very much like what I am in personal life.”

Ashnoor’s mother told us, “Ashnoor plays the daughter of characters essayed by Puneet and Malini. The daughter is protected by Maa Durga all the time. And in the climax, she fights against the evil powers.”

As we know, Fear Files was being produced by Zee TV’s in-house production unit, Esselvision Productions and Contiloe Telefilms. But now, as per the recent development, Contiloe will not be producing any more episodics for Zee TV’s Fear Files. Instead, all the episodes will from now on be produced by Esselvision.

When contacted, Producer Abhimanyu Singh (Contiloe Telefilms) confirmed the news saying, “Yes, Contiloe will not be producing episodics for Fear Files. Our contract was getting to a closure, and this is when Zee TV expressed their opinion that they would from now on want their in-house (Esselvision) to produce stories for the show.”

Esselvision will now be producing both the episodes that go on air every week.
