Noted actor Manish Choudhary, who has movies like Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year, Band Bajaa Baraat, Raaz 3, Mickey Virus and many more to his credit, will play a pivotal role in Ashutosh Gowariker’s much-anticipated TV show for Star Plus, Everest.

As we know, Everest will be the story of a young girl, a daughter of an Army officer, who would want to prove her worth to her father by climbing the Mount Everest one day.

Manish Choudhary has been roped in to play the role of the father, who would long all his life about him not having a son who can fulfill his unfulfilled desire of climbing the Mount Everest. After getting to know her father’s desire, the protagonist would decide to train herself in mountaineering and achieve the feat of climbing Everest.

Apart from Manish, noted actors Milind Gunaji and Rajat Kapoor of Bheja Fry fame will be part of the show. While Gunaji will play the principal of the mountaineering institute, Rajat Kapoor will play the role of a business baron with a grey shade.

The unit recently shot extensively at the Nehru Institute of Mountaneering (NIM) at Uttarkashi for more than a month. They are now headed to shoot at the Everest Base Camp in Nepal.

We tried contacting Manish, but could not reach him.

On TV, Manish Choudhary donned the role of Usmaan Ali Malik in Sony Entertainment Television’s Powder.

The lead protagonist will be a fresh face named Kshamata. The two male protagonists will also be newbies – Rohan and Saahil.
