Meera Deosthale, who essays the ever-spunky Chakor in Colors’ Udann (Guruodev Bhalla and Dhaval Gada) is back to the set after a brief hospitalization!

Yes, there was extreme panic on the sets last week (Friday) when Meera cramped up all of a sudden and could not move. Exhaustion had got to her no doubt, but there was a considerable degree of weakness in the girl. 

We heard that all of it started when Meera injured her wrist while shooting a boxing sequence. This triggered her back pain, and she started to feel numb. Upon immediate hospitalization and tests conducted, it was diagnosed that her vitamin levels (D and B12) were very low, owing to which her bones had softened up.

As per our source, “Meera was forced to stay put in the hospital for nearly three days, post which she has resumed shoot now. Though she seems weak, she is not left with any option but to shoot.”

We also hear that the team had to bring in last minute changes in the maha episode that went on air yesterday (7 Aug) owing to the absence of Meera.

When contacted, Meera told us, “Yes, I have just got out of hospital. The doctors have advised bed rest for a week, but that’s impossible. I am certainly better, but guess will need some time to get my energy levels high again.”
