Shibani Dandekar, who has hosted many American shows, became a household name after she started hosting IPL Extraa Innings on Sony Max.

The lovely woman, who describes to have a wonderful journey in IPL seasons, believes that Extraa Innings has worked as a great platform in her career, helping to establish her own identity in the field.

The young woman, who always has to be on her toes for anchoring, believes that mental preparation is much needed to keep up with the high spirits. “We have to travel a lot of times throughout the entire season and to keep up with the pace we need to do lots of planning and of course, we need to have mental preparation.”

Speaking about her hosting style the lady mentioned, “The most important factor is that one should be able to present her personality well. Everyone has his or her unique way of presenting and that conversation style is important. Among four of us I believe Gaurav (Kapur) possesses the gift of being naturally funny and I guess is loved by everyone.”

When the lady was quizzed about her experience of being a female presenter in the male dominated profession, Shibani quickly replied, “I have never felt any difficulty related to gender issues. As a presenter we should have the knowledge of the game and should speak sensibly. And I have never faced any such challenges rather players have also respected us.”

Before signing off the lovely lady mentioned that IPL Extraa Innings has definitely helped her to grow as a professional.
