Mohammad Nazim who essays the lead character of Ahem Modi in Star Plus’ long-running show Saath Nibhana Saathiya (Rashmi Sharma Productions) is a typical ‘Mumma’s boy’!!! Staying away from his family (he hails from Chandigarh), the young lad craves to have sumptuous and nutritious food and is a ‘foodie’ to the core. His busy day begins with a bowl of oats, after which he heads for his shoot. Talking about his regimented food pattern, Nazim states, “I have to maintain my physique and am very choosy in what I eat. Having said this, I love to eat. The unique taste that my mother’s food evokes is something that I love the most. I enjoy all the dishes she makes; I am very fond of her Biryani and Mutton Korma.” On the kind of food he usually eats, Nazim avers, “I usually prefer to have brown bread on the sets. If I have the time to cook myself a meal, I make Maggi noodles and put scrambled eggs in it. If I have the inclination to having a heavy meal on sets, I order chicken from restaurants.” If given a chance, Nazim can keep his taste buds happy by cooking for himself. And the man wishes to cook a delicious meal for his mother one day. “I will want to prepare something for my mother when she is here in Mumbai. But knowing her, she will never allow me to enter the kitchen when she is around. So I will restrict myself to making a cup of tea for her (smiles).” Nazim, we hope there comes a day when you can please your mother with a deliciously cooked meal!!!
