Mohit Mattoo finds inspiration from Farhan Akhtar; turns into a screenplay writer

Mohit Mattoo
Mohit Mattoo, who is popular as a television actor and eminent poet, has given himself a new designation, that of a screenplay writer. Yes, it is true that Mohit is the screenplay writer for the Bhojpuri movie Yodhaa, directed by Raj N.Sippy of Satte Pe Satta fame. The movie is being produced by Madz Movies Production and Samir Aftab Productions, and is presented by Abhay Sinha. This is the first mega-budget multi-starrer Bhojpuri film starring Madhu Sharma, Pawan Singh and Ravi Kisshan in the lead roles. The movie has released on 29 August all over India. Talking about the experience working with the team Mohit stated, “It was an awesome experience. In fact, Raj ji and Samir were very clear about the kind of cinema they wanted to attempt. So with their co-operation, it was easy for me to work. We packed our bags and went out of Mumbai to brainstorm with sittings of more than 18 to 20 hours. We are sure this movie will rock at the box office, and the best part is that it is treated not as a regional movie, but as a proper popular commercial Hindi cinema. I would call it Bollywood-Bhojpuri cinema. I am thankful to Madz Films for having faith in me as a screenplay writer. Yodhaa is a complete entertainer for the entire family and audience. In fact, I feel inspired from Farhan Akhtar who acts, writes as well as directs. So my goal is very clear, that is to pursue my career in film making being an actor, writer, director.” Three cheers to Mohit!!
