Mohit Mattoo 'moves on' from FIR to accept new challenges as an actor

Mohit Mattoo
Mohit Mattoo who essayed the role of Bittu Kaushik in Zee TV’s Mrs. Kaushik ki Paanch Bahuein made a lively comeback with the entertaining character of ‘Carry On’ in SAB TV’s FIR (Edit II Productions). However, the character went missing all of a sudden, and we now hear that Mohit, in fact, is no longer a part of the show. When inquired, Mohit Mattoo told Tellychakkar.com, “Yes, you heard it right. I am no more with FIR. It was a wonderful experience shooting for the show. There were some problems with the look of my character and this is the reason for things getting to a standstill. I have just received my NOC from the producers few days back, and am looking forward to my next challenge as an actor.” Even though Carry On was a full-on entertaining character, Mohit loves his previous character of Bittu even today. “Bittuji of Mrs. Kaushik is closer to my heart as I lived the character for a longer time and I had the scope to try out various things.” Mohit’s colleagues from Mrs. Kaushik ki Paanch Bahuein, Jignesh Joshi, Alok Narula, Preet Kaur and Manoj Chandila were recently seen in Zee TV’s Fear Files. Ask him whether he too will soon join the bandwagon by taking up an episodic role in the Zee horror show, the actor quipped, “Frankly speaking, Zee TV is my parent channel. However, I have not yet received a call for Fear Files. I was earlier on an official contract with the producers of FIR, but now that I am free I look forward to signing up something substantial.” Here’s wishing Mohit all the very best!!!
