Mukesh Khanna roped in for Sony TV’s Peshwa Bajirao

Peshwa Bajirao, the much-anticipated historical on Sony TV has roped in some of the big names of TV and Bollywood!!

The show produced by Sunjoy Wadhwa’s Sphere Origins and Nilanjana Purkayasstha’s Invictus T Mediaworks, has in its ensemble cast eminent personalities like Manish Wadhwa, Anuja Sathe, Pallavi Joshi(who has now replaced Mrinal Kulkarni), Raza Murad, Nawab Shah, Sanjay Batra and child actor Rudra Soni.

The latest biggie to join the cast will be veteran actor Mukesh Khanna.

Khanna, who reigned supreme in his majestic role of Bhishma Pitamah in Mahabharat has been part of noteworthy TV shows Chandrakantha, The Great Maratha, Shaktimaan, Maryada, Pyaar Ka Dard Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara, and the latest being Waaris on & TV.

Mukesh Khanna has been roped in to play the role of the noble saint, Brahmendra Swami in Peshwa Bajirao.

When contacted, Khanna told Tellychakkar.com, “Talks are certainly on, but there is no confirmation at the moment.”

We also buzzed the channel spokesperson and Producer Sunjoy Wadhwa, but did not get revert till the time we filed the story.
